Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- RIETER Department will be created at the Tashkent Textile Institute. Vice President of RIETER AG, Robert Albrect, said this at a meeting with Chairman of the Uztekstilprom Association Ilkhom Khaidarov, during which prospects for cooperation in the field of higher education and training of qualified personnel for the textile industry were discussed.

In particular, the Swiss company made a proposal to raise education at a domestic textile university to a higher level. In accordance with preliminary agreements, the project will be carried out in 3 directions:

Retraining of teachers of the institute according to the most modern methodology;

Creation of the “RIETER Department” with in-depth training in cotton processing and textile engineering.

Providing grants to talented students for their graduation and project work in Switzerland, as well as organizing their internships and with the prospect of further further employment.
