Responsibility for interference in the execution of judicial acts established

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A law signed by the President introduced administrative and criminal liability for interference in the process of enforcement of judicial acts and acts of other bodies.

According to the law, these actions can be punished by imprisonment for a term of 1 to 3 years if they are committed after the application of an administrative penalty.

Also, the failure to verify the presence of debt under executive documents when concluding major transactions, providing certain types of financial and credit services, international passenger transportation services and public services entails administrative liability.

The law establishes a simplified procedure for enforcement proceedings. According to it, recovery under a simplified procedure cannot be levied on the property of the debtor (with the exception of monetary funds) and without the application of liability measures.

In a simplified manner, the recovery will be directed to the debtor’s funds in bank accounts, and to recover amounts not exceeding 822,000 soums - to wages, scholarships, pensions and other income.
