Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Government Resolution “On introducing amendments and additions to some resolutions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the creation of conditions for the development of vocational education in the non-state sector and the improvement of the certification system for teaching staff” was adopted.

According to the Resolution:

- the maximum lease term for state-owned objects for non-state vocational educational organizations has been increased from 5 to 10 years;

- Licensing requirements and conditions were simplified by halving the amount (from US$50,000 to US$25,000) credited to the bank account of non-state educational organizations for the provision of professional educational services.
