Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A government resolution “On amendments to some decisions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at further support of the population in need of social protection” was adopted.
In order to ensure the same application of the concept of a large family in legislation and law enforcement, the decision, in particular:
- Amendments have been made to the Regulations on the procedure for registering citizens in need of better housing conditions, distribution and provision of housing in the state housing stock, according to which the requirement for seven or more children under the age of 16 when providing housing to large families has been canceled.
According to the amendment to the Regulation on the conditions for the free provision of cattle to low-income families and large families in rural areas, the requirement to have five or more minor children with free provision of cattle to large families has been canceled.
In accordance with the Family Code, a family with four or more children under the age of 18 is a large family. At the same time, if out of four or more children, 1 or more are enrolled in full-time education in educational institutions (secondary specialized and vocational, higher education) and have not reached the age of 22, this family is also considered a large family.
