Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Uzcharmsanoat Association in cooperation with the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry from 9 to 11 November 2021, the second round of the Republican competition of young designers in the field of construction, technology and design of footwear, clothing and leather and fur products "UZCHARM STYLE 2021" is being held in Tashkent.

The republican competition is held in order to train qualified personnel, teach them modern methods and innovative approaches to organizing production, as well as create the necessary conditions for diversifying the range of products manufactured and expanding export supplies, including the practical implementation of investment and innovative projects.

The main goal of the competition is to identify and promote young specialists involved in the design and modeling of leather, footwear and fur and fur products, research advanced innovative developments in the industry, study trends in the fashion industry, and develop appropriate recommendations for domestic manufacturers. Work on expanding cooperation with well-known fashion houses and leading design and modeling companies specializing in the production of footwear, leather goods, fur, karakul products and wool products, as well as attracting experienced fashion designers, designers and fashion experts in order to improve design and expansion of the product range.

The competition is held in the following nominations:

- "The best design of men's shoes";

- "The best design of women's shoes";

- "The best design of children's and teenage shoes";

- "The best design of leather goods and accessories";

- "The best design of sporting goods";

- "The best design of men's clothing made of leather (karakul)";

- "The best design of women's clothing made of leather (karakul)."

According to the results of the competition "UZCHARM STYLE 2021" winners will be determined, who will be awarded with valuable prizes.

The competition is attended by students of higher educational institutions (Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, Bukhara Engineering and Technological Institute, Namangan Engineering and Technological Institute, Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, National Institute of Arts and Design named after Kamoliddin Bekzod and professional colleges) specialized in training personnel for enterprises of the leather, footwear and fur and fur industries of Uzbekistan.

At the first stage of the competition, more than 100 applications were registered, of which 38 participants passed the qualifying round and received a referral to the 2nd final round
