Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Regulation on higher paramilitary educational institutions was approved by the Government resolution.

According to the Resolution, the highest paramilitary educational institutions are:

- Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;

- Customs Institute of the State Customs Committee.

These educational institutions are training personnel in the areas of undergraduate and graduate specialties.

Education in the direction of the bachelor’s degree is carried out in full-time, distance learning and part-time (special part-time) forms of education.

Full-time education lasts at least 3 years.

The duration of distance learning (distance) in a bachelor’s degree on-the-job for workers who do not have higher education is set at least 4 years, for those with higher education - 3 years.

Cadets are considered to have completed compulsory military service at the end of the 1st stage of training and they are issued a military ID.

Education in the specialties of the magistracy is carried out in full-time or part-time forms of study with a duration of study of at least 1 year.

Also, educational institutions can organize a 2-stage (two-year) master’s degree for the targeted training of specialists in the field of management. At the same time, graduates are given the opportunity to engage in scientific and pedagogical activities.

Graduates of educational institutions, together with a diploma, are issued a badge of the sample approved by the authorized state body.
