Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the production facilities of the Russian company UZTM-KARTEX (St. Petersburg), the first part of the crushing complex was poured, which Uralmashplant will supply to Uzbekistan for the construction of a new Copper Processing Plant (CPP) No 3 of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgy Combine (AGMK).
The pouring process took place in the presence of the head of the AGMK Abdulla Khursanov and the director of the Yoshlik I field development project office Sidikov Bahodir.
The consortium of Enter Engineering (EE) and Uralmashzavod PJSC (part of the Gazprombank industrial group) will build the CPP on the basis of an EPC contract signed with AGMK on 23 June 2021. The total cost of the contract is US$2 billion, the project will be completed in 2023.
