Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Two prisoners, who escaped from colony-settlement No. 30 in Jizzakh region, were detained on the night of 5-6 January.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, they were detained in one of the border regions of Andijan region.

The prisoners escaped on 4 January. One escaped from the therapeutic department of the Zafarabad district medical association. The second escaped from the colony.

Now the prisoners are placed in a temporary detention center.

The investigation is underway.
