Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 22 September 2021, a working meeting was held at the International Institute of Central Asia in Tashkent under the chairmanship of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov on the priorities and tasks of the chairmanship of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in 2021-2022.

“Uzbekistan has extensive experience in organizing international events. Therefore, there is no doubt that all events within the chairmanship of our country in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will be held at the highest level,” Kamilov noted.

The event was attended by heads and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expert-analytical and scientific-academic organizations of Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that during the presidency of Uzbekistan in the SCO, it is planned to hold a number of events in various areas of the Organization’s activities.
