Topical issues of further expansion of the Uzbek-Tajik multifaceted cooperation, primarily in the trade and economic sphere, were discussed.
The presidents reviewed the preparations for the upcoming events of the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization on September 16-17 this year in the city of Dushanbe, and also exchanged views on the current situation in Afghanistan.
An agreement was reached that the leaders will hold a separate meeting on the issues of the bilateral and regional agenda within the framework of the program of the upcoming SCO summit.
