Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 27 April, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved an international agreement with Kyrgyzstan on crossing the border using an ID card.

The document was signed during the visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan). The head of Uzbekistan visited Kyrgyzstan on 27 January 2023.

In accordance with the agreement, citizens of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan can cross the borders of the countries using ID-cards.
