Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with a project for the construction of roadside service facilities along the Tashkent bypass road.

Such complexes have proven themselves all over the world. The project presented to the Head of the state provides for the creation of convenience stores, public catering and household services. Freight containers are used to reduce cost and speed up construction.

It is planned to allocate 7 hectares for the project. The objects will be sold to entrepreneurs through an online auction. It is planned to employ over 500 people.

The President also examined one of the electric buses plying in Tashkent. Instructions were given on the development of green transport, the further stages of the subway and the laying of tram tracks.
