Phone Conversation Held Between President of Uzbekistan and Crown Prince of Kuwait

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 4 March, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, held a phone conversation with the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

During the discussion, both leaders expressed serious concern over the escalating situation in the Middle East and the strikes targeting various infrastructure facilities in the country. It was emphasized that such actions violate the principles of international law and that any activities posing a threat to peace and the safety of the population must be immediately halted. Uzbekistan reaffirmed its solidarity with the friendly people of Kuwait during this difficult period.

President Mirziyoyev thanked the Kuwaiti side for the practical assistance provided to Uzbek citizens in Kuwait and conveyed warm regards to His Majesty the Emir of Kuwait, Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

In turn, the Crown Prince of Kuwait expressed gratitude to the President of Uzbekistan for the friendly support and solidarity extended during this challenging time.
