Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Government resolution approved the Regulations on the procedure for systematically solving women’s problems and their social support through the maintenance of the "Women’s Notebook".

According to the Regulations, the following women over 30 years old are included in the "Women’s Notebook":

-unemployed women in need of social protection;

-needy women who want to do business;

- needy women who do not have a breadwinner; 

- women in need of social assistance with disabilities of groups I and II who need urgent medical treatment; 

-women in need of housing;

-needy women with dependent children with disabilities.

Loans are provided at 14 percent for women up to 33 million soums to establish entrepreneurship:

-for family business - up to 3 years with a grace period of 3 to 6 months;

- for animal husbandry, fish farming, poultry farming - up to 3 years with a grace period of up to 1 year;

- for horticulture, viticulture and lemon growing - up to 7 years with a grace period of up to 3 years.

Women can be given cash loans in the amount of up to 5 million soums.

In connection with the approval of this Regulation, the previous temporary procedure for maintaining the "Women’s Notebook" has been canceled.
