Over 4 million passengers transported by rail in six months of this year

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the State Statistics Committee, in January-June 2022, Uzbekistan Temir Yollari transported a total of 4.4 million passengers, which is 12.0% more than in the same period of 2021.

Uzbekistan Temir Yollari for 6 months of this year transported 35.9 million tons of cargo. Compared to the same period in 2021, the volume of cargo transportation increased by 1.9%.

For information: in January-June 2022, 9.03 million passengers and 206.2 million cargo were transported in Kazakhstan.
