Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Ishtykhan district of Samarkand region, a tourist bus collided with a KAMAZ truck. The road incident occurred on 22 May, but the traffic police department of the Samarkand region reported it only on 29 May. 

The bus transported foreign tourists from Bukhara to Samarkand. The accident happened around midnight.

According to preliminary information, the bus driver fell asleep at the wheel. The bus driver’s partner was seriously injured and died at the scene. Among the passengers, a Romanian citizen was injured, he was hospitalized with minor injuries.
