Net profit of Uzpromstroybank for Q2 makes up 768.4 billion soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The net profit of Uzpromstroybank for the second quarter of 2024 amounted to 768.4 billion soums, which is 93.7% higher compared to the same period in 2023.

According to the bank’s report, its total income increased by 53.7%, reaching 7.8 trillion soums.

The bank’s assets amounted to 80.1 trillion soums as of the end of the second quarter of 2024, which is 21.1% higher compared to the same period of last year.

The bank’s capital grew by 15.5% and amounted to 9.5 trillion soums.

The bank’s interest income amounted to 5.2 trillion soums, increasing by 59.1%, while non-interest income reached 2.6 trillion soums.

According to the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, as of 1 June, the bank’s loan portfolio amounted to 60.1 trillion soums, which is 13.5% higher compared to the previous year. The share of non-performing loans (NPL) in annual terms increased from 2.9% to 4.3%.
