Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The National Chamber of Innovative Healthcare of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the SwissLab medical laboratory organized laboratory tests for 6 thousand people.
Within the framework of the Program of the National Chamber for the Support of Regions, residents of a number of regions from among socially vulnerable groups of the population receive free diagnostic packages (vouchers), which include the most demanded laboratory tests necessary for screening patients in cardiological, urological, and therapeutic areas.
At the first stage of the project, residents of Samarkand, Jizzakh, Syrdarya, Tashkent regions and Tashkent city will use diagnostic packages. The lists of participants are prepared by the territorial divisions of the National Chamber of Innovative Healthcare.
“Today, the President of Uzbekistan pays special attention to screening the health of the population for the prevention of human diseases. In particular, this was mentioned by Shavkat Miromonovich during the video conference call on 26 February. Fulfilling this task, within the framework of its Program for Support of Regions, the National Chamber has taken the issue of screening, especially of persons from among vulnerable groups of the population, under special control,” said the chairman of this state structure, Rovshan Izamov.
Specialists of "SwissLab" (a joint Uzbek-Swiss venture) will conduct laboratory tests for 6 thousand people during March and April this year. The joint project is aimed, first of all, at high quality screening, since the laboratory tests of this company meet European quality standards, which is confirmed by the necessary certification.
This, in turn, will contribute to an increase in the level of diagnostics of patients' health, a decrease in errors in making a diagnosis, an improvement in medical statistics, and an increase in general public confidence in the level of national health care.
