Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis today approved the termination of powers of some members of the current composition of the Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan and the election of new members.

In particular, the powers of 7 members of the Central Election Commission - Mirza-Ulugbek Abdusalomov, Janabay Sadikov, Otagaldi Bobodjonov, Mukhayo Djuraeva, Esanbai Rajabov, Erkin Khodjakulov and Jalil Norov - were terminated.

Zainiddin Nizamkhodjaev, Bakhrom Kuchkarov, Ergash Yusupov, Alexander Farmonov, Muyassar Kadirova, Shukhrat Juraev, Orifjon Bazarov and Alisher Usmankulov were elected as members of the CEC.
