Mirziyoyev dismisses Deputy Health Minister over work shortcomings
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has dismissed two Deputy Ministers of Health.
During a videoconference meeting dedicated to outlining the priority tasks for the next stage of healthcare reform, the head of state announced the dismissal of Deputy Ministers Davron Sultanov and Farrukh Sharipov.
The decision was made due to identified shortcomings and errors in their performance.
In addition, Deputy Minister Olim Omonov received a stern warning: if tangible results in the digitalization of the sector are not achieved within the next six months, he will also be dismissed from his post.
