Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the official visit of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the Republic of Uzbekistan on 5 October 2021, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan signed a memorandum of understanding.
The purpose of the document is to create a basis for joint institutional relationships and develop bilateral cooperation.
The memorandum envisages cooperation in the field of rule-making, law enforcement practice, raising the legal awareness and legal culture of citizens, training and advanced training of legal personnel, as well as in other areas of mutual interest.
The document will serve to strengthen, encourage and develop bilateral cooperation in the field of law and justice between the ministries of the two countries.
It should be noted that today the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan has established bilateral cooperation with more than twenty ministries of justice of foreign countries.
