Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ministry of Internal Affairs has developed a draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers "On measures to strengthen the promotion of traffic rules in educational institutions."

The purpose of the document is to improve the legal culture of schoolchildren and students, their observance of traffic rules, instilling in them respect for the law, intolerance to any violations of it.

In the Main Directorate of Road Traffic Safety and territorial departments of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, one staff unit of a special senior inspector with a higher pedagogical education will be introduced for joint work with educational institutions.

The senior inspector conducts outreach work among young people in educational institutions, organizes quizzes and competitions, and evaluates the conditions created for teaching traffic rules.

The Ministry of Public Education is instructed, together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, and the Agency for Youth Affairs, to create a club "Young propagandist of traffic rules" with the participation of young volunteers in educational institutions within three months.
