Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 21 September 2020, at 23:30, the number of registered cases of coronavirus infections in Uzbekistan reached 52,259 (+189) or 619 new cases of COVID-19 were registered per day.

About 101 new cases were detected in the Tashkent region and 79 in the city of Tashkent. Also today, 5 people (3 men and 2 women) have died from coronavirus infection.

It is noteworthy that to date, 396 patients have been discharged and cured in Tashkent, 130 in Tashkent, 85 in Namangan, 30 in Jizzakh, 7 in Andijan, 7 in Bukhara, 4 in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, and 4 in Ferghana.

In the republic, 48 606 (+674) people with coronavirus infection (93%) have recovered.

Of the 3,215 patients who are currently being treated in medical institutions, 536 are in serious and 283 are in critical condition.
