Ministry of Health publishes new data on COVID-19

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 23:30 on 28 August 2020, the number of registered cases of coronavirus infections in Uzbekistan made up 40,823 (+103).

About 56 new cases were registered in Tashkent, 39 in Tashkent region and 8 in Samarkand region due to contact with patients with coronavirus.

536 patients recovered in Tashkent, 156 - in Tashkent, 21 - in Samarkand, 16 - in Namangan, 10 - in Khorezm, 6 - in Surkhandarya and 2 - in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

37,947 (+747) people with coronavirus infection (93%) have recovered, 2,573 patients are being treated according to the standards established by doctors.
