Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4 September 2020, Minister of Innovative Development Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov visited the Slovak-Russian-Uzbek joint venture CHIRANA ASIA and the Uzbek-Polish joint venture NOVOL ASIA and got acquainted with the work done.

At the joint venture CHIRANA ASIA, which produces ventilators, the minister got acquainted with the progress of the last stage of construction work at the plant. The issues of using the produced equipment, training to work with it were also discussed. The emphasis was placed on the need for training and advanced training of specialists working on equipment without interrupting production and on the involvement of experienced specialists in this issue.

The issues of scientific research and development were discussed with the JV NOVOL ASIA, which has the only plant in the CIS for the production of new generation fillers and polyester adhesives for cars (special adhesives for marble, granite and other stones). It is planned to establish relations with the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology. It is expected that this will ensure the integration of production with science and the localization of production. For this purpose, specialists and researchers of the Tashkent State Chemical-Technological Institute have agreed to hold a seminar in September with the participation of representatives of the NOVOL ASIA. It was also noted that young researchers and technologists working in this field need to undergo a short-term internship at prestigious foreign chemical and technological centers in order to familiarize themselves with foreign experience.

In addition, the head of the NOVOL ASIA Bobur Sheraliev said that in the near future a project will be implemented on the serial production of a wall-mounted non-contact thermometer for measuring body temperature. The Minister of Innovative Development, in turn, noted that, given the relevance of the project, it will be supported by the Ministry.

The minister also got acquainted with the construction of the Youth Technopark in the city of Akhangaran, Tashkent region and gave instructions to complete the work.
