Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, in preparation for an open dialogue between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with entrepreneurs and investors, held a briefing on the activities of the Headquarters to collect and analyze requests from entrepreneurs. The event was attended by over 30 journalists and media representatives.

During the briefing, First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade A. Voitov spoke in detail about the activities of the Headquarters and the current results of its work.

From July 20 to August 10 of this year, specialists from the call centers of the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Business Ombudsman and the Prime Minister’s office received requests from entrepreneurs around the clock.

Applications could also be sent through the official accounts of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in social networks and instant messengers.

Incoming appeals were processed by working groups consisting of employees and experts from ministries and departments. Similar groups functioned in every region of the country.

In total, in the course of the activities of the Headquarters, 15,309 appeals were received, of which 13,941 were questions of an individual nature.

A detailed study of the questions received is under the control of the Headquarters specialists.

In terms of regions, most of the applications came from Tashkent (1,564), Surkhandarya (1,395), Tashkent (1,357), Kashkadarya (1,288) and Fergana (1,250) regions.

To date, 81.1 percent of the received applications have been processed. The staff of the Headquarters are actively working on solving each identified problem, which gives reason to believe that not a single appeal of entrepreneurs will be left unattended.

Briefings on coverage of the activities of the Headquarters will be held at the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade on a regular basis.
