Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 9 September 2020, a meeting of the permanent advisory body of the Council of Heads of CCIs of the CIS member states in the field of international commercial arbitration was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Djasimov Islam Kazimovich, Director of the Tashkent International Arbitration Center (TIAC) D.B. Baizakova, Chairman of the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation A.A. Kostin, Chairman of the International Arbitration Court at Commerce -Industrial Chamber of the Kyrgyz Republic Sh.Yu. Maichiev, Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijan International Commercial Arbitration Court Kh.B. Iskandarov, as well as the head of the staff of the AIFC Court and the International Arbitration Center Christopher Campbell-Holt.

The moderator of this event was the Director of the Institute for Problems of Legislation and Parliamentary Research under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan F.Kh. Otakhonov.

At the beginning of the Meeting, the First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Djasimov Islam Kazimovich made a welcoming speech.
