Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the draft Presidential Decree "On the State Program for the Implementation of the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 in the Year of Care for the Human and Quality Education", in order to provide the population with quality medical services, the following has been determined:
- creation of 30 family polyclinics, 110 family doctor points and 520 mobile mahalla medical points in 2023;
- phased transition to electronic form of issuing certificates of temporary disability and other medical certificates.
At the same time, it was decided to introduce the issuance of temporary disability certificates and other medical certificates in electronic form:
in Navoi and Syrdarya regions - starting from 1 July 2023;
in the city of Tashkent, Tashkent and Samarkand regions - from 1 October 2023;
in other regions of the republic - from 1 January 2024.
Accordingly, from 1 January 2024, the request for medical certificates in paper form will be prohibited.
From 1 July 2023, the mechanisms of state medical insurance will be gradually introduced in the city of Tashkent.
In order to form a healthy lifestyle, a nationwide movement "Proper nutrition and a healthy lifestyle" will be organized.
As part of the movement, it is planned to teach the population to control their health and nutrition using smartphones and mobile applications, and to create a mobile application for proper nutrition.
