Mammalogy training to be held in Ferghana

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A training titled “Breast cancer in a view of proved medicine. Modern aspects of epidemiology, diagnostics, treatment and precautions” will be held in Ferghana city on 6-8 August 2012.

Some 30 mammalogy doctors, cancer gynaecologists, cytopathologists and other doctors from Andijan, Namangan and Ferghana regions will attend the training.

One of leading specialists in cancer diseases Jo Ann Zuzhevski and cancer specialists of Tashkent city will conduct the training.

The organizers of the event are “In the Name of Life” National Breast Cancer Association, UNFPA, Women’s Council, Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan. Similar trainings were also held in Tashkent, Karakalpakstan, Khorezm region and Bukhara region in 2011.
