Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A comparative analysis of antibodies detected in individuals vaccinated with three doses of the ZF-UZ-VAC2001 vaccine (two regular and one booster dose), as well as in those who recovered from COVID-19 (a group at the rehabilitation stage) was carried out.
Blood samples from those who received the vaccine were divided into separate groups according to the intervals between the second and third doses. The results of the analysis were published in The New England Journal of Medicine.
Individuals in the short interval group received a second dose of vaccine 1 month after the first dose and a third dose 1 month after the second dose. Individuals in the long interval group received a second dose of vaccine 1 month after the first dose and were vaccinated 4 months after the third dose. As a result, the interval between the first and third doses was 5 months.
