Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 25 October, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov.

The leader of Kyrgyzstan sincerely congratulated the Head of Uzbekistan on the successful holding and confident victory in the presidential elections in the country. Wishes of peace, prosperity and progress were expressed to the brotherly Uzbek people.

The presidents discussed the implementation of joint cooperation projects in trade, economic, investment, transport, communication and humanitarian spheres.

The issues of the regional agenda were also considered.
