Latvian President visits Embassy of Uzbekistan

President of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis paid a visit to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Riga, according to the press service of the Latvian leader.
Raimonds Vējonis signed in the book of condolences of the Embassy of Uzbekistan on the death of President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov on September 5.
On 2 September 2016, First President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov died at the age of 78 after serious illness.
Uzbekistan declared three days of national mourning in connection with the death of Islam Karimov from 3 September 2016.
