Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During a meeting held at the Kor-Uz textile technopark, the Chairman of the Uztekstilprom association and the president of KITECH discussed the further operation of the Textile Technopark and expanding its activities to the scale of Central Asia.

KITECH President Mr. Lee Kang Kyu noted that the work on the creation of the technopark began 16 years ago, when we started working in the development of the textile industry.

Established with the assistance of the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH), Kor-Uz Textile technopark has great potential to develop not only the textile industry, but also help in research in areas such as automotive, aviation, electronics and medicine.

President Lee Kang Kyu expressed readiness to further develop the activities of the Textile Technopark from Korea and attract specialists.
