Kashkadarya region’s gross regional produce grows by 11.7%

Gross regional product of Kashkadarya region rose by 11.7% in 2008 and industrial output increased by 18.9% in the reporting period.
Agriculture output of the region grew by 6.4% and rendered services rose by 17.7%. The region’s exports doubled in 2008.
The region attracted 1.63 trillion soums of capital investments in 2008, 35.8% of which were foreign direct investments and credits.
Share of small businesses in gross regional product of Kashkadarya region made up 50.9%.
