Jasur Jaisunov is vice-champion of the Grand Slam tournament

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The WT Taekwondo Grand Slam tournament ended in Wuxi, China. It is gratifying to emphasize that our representative Jasur Jaisunov won a silver award in the -80 kg weight category.

In the quarterfinals, our taekwondo fighter defeated the Tokyo 2020 Olympic champion Maxim Khramtsov, and in the semifinals - Mirhashim Hossein from Iran. In the decisive match, Jaisunov went to dayan against another Iranian - Mehran Barkhordari.

Unfortunately, our athlete lost to his opponent with a score of 1:2. Thus, Jasur Jaisunov finished on the second place in this Grand Slam tournament.
