Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - At the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tokyo, a meeting was held with the director of the "Jogakkan" primary school Hitoshi Tanaka in order to establish and develop cooperation in the field of school education.

During the meeting, issues of organizing joint lessons and other events with schools of Uzbekistan, as well as the possibility of academic exchange of schoolchildren were discussed.

The Japanese side expressed its readiness to support the teachers of the republic by organizing special courses to familiarize themselves with the Japanese education system in order to improve their qualifications.

An agreement was reached to intensify interaction in areas of mutual interest.
