Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 20 October 2022, the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan hosted a ceremony to sign grant contracts for 3 projects worth US$270,630 in the field of medicine.
The funds were allocated under the program of the Government of Japan "Grants of assistance to grass-root social projects to ensure human security."
In particular, Japan allocated a grant in the amount of US$90,650 for the implementation of a project to provide medical equipment to the Medical Association of the Nukus District of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
Another US$90,000 will be directed to the implementation of a project to provide medical equipment for the Medical Association of the Peshkun district of Bukhara region and US$89,980 to implement a project to provide medical equipment to the Family Polyclinic No.17 in the Almazar district of Tashkent city.
