Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Directorate of tourist and recreational zone (TRZ) Charvak, together with the State Unitary Enterprise Toza Hudud of Bostanlyk district, at the exit from Bostanlyk, installed an eco-point for receiving waste from tourists. Here you can also receive small gifts for the handed over garbage.

If we rely on the experience of foreign countries, we can see that there is no goal to install as many bins or waste collection points as possible, the focus is on the development of social responsibility. Everyone makes sure that nature is safe. It was to improve the ecological culture of vacationers and prevent the occurrence of spontaneous dumps that an ecopoint was launched in order to motivate people to take their garbage with them after their holidays. A pilot branded point was installed in the village of Korankul, Bostanlyk district. 

The ecopoint has an information banner with explanations on how to properly prepare waste for delivery, what you can get for the handed over garbage, in addition, you can get all the necessary information from the employee who receives the waste.

In honor of the launch of the ecopoint, the Directorate of the Charvak TRZ and the State Unitary Enterprise "Toza Hudud" of Bostanlyk district also announce the launch of the "Take the garbage with you" campaign. As part of this action, the organization calls for collecting garbage after a holiday in Bostanlyk district and handing it over to an eco-point.

What should be done?

1. After resting in Bostanlyk district, collect your own and, if there is someone else's garbage around.

2. At the exit from Bostanlyk district, hand over the collected garbage and receive a symbolic gift.

Thus, depending on the delivered garbage, participants receive small rewards in the form of stationery and clothes from the Directorate of the Charvak TRZ, certificates for a 15 percent discount on rafting rafting on the Ugam River with professional instructors, as well as other gifts from partners of the Directorate TRZ "Charvak".

“The advantage of ecopoints is a small contribution to preventing the formation of landfills from municipal waste. More than 45 thousand people visit Bostanlyk district in one day off. If everyone who comes to Bostanlyk district returns at least 1 bottle or package of food, then this will already be a huge victory in the unequal fight against garbage. Also, taking this opportunity, we would like to invite interested partners to participate in this action,” says Alina Abdurazzakova, head of the department for strategic cooperation and work with international organizations of the Directorate of the TRZ “Charvak”.
