Industrial output of Uzbekistan reach 20.265trln soums in Jan-Sep

Uzbekistan increased production of consumer goods by 13.7% year-on-year to 6.291 trillion soums in January-September 2009, of which 2.652 trillion soums (up 7.7%) were food products and 3.639 trillion soums (up 18.6%) - non-food goods.

Largest share in the structure of industrial output fell to fuel industry (22.7% of total industrial production), machinery and metal processing (15.7%), non-ferrous metallurgy (11.6%), light industry (11.1%) and food industry (11%).
