Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 1 January 2021, tariffs of mandatory payments for the provision of services for the collection and removal of household waste in the regions are approved after approval by decisions of local Kengashes with the initial receipt of the conclusions of the price regulating authorities;

in the territories assigned in accordance with the established procedure for the provision of services to clusters engaged in the integrated management of household waste, the procurement of secondary raw materials (with the exception of the purchase of scrap metals and waste) is carried out by these clusters through collection points;

it is prohibited to extract and misappropriate secondary raw materials contained in household waste without the consent of organizations specializing in the provision of services in the field of household waste management;

construction waste generated in the course of construction work is sent primarily for reuse, recycling or disposal;

it is not allowed to commission multi-storey residential buildings with more than 300 apartments that are not equipped with collection points for household waste;

photographs and video recordings of violations in the field of ecology, environmental protection and nature management, sent by the population to the special information system of the State Committee for Ecology on the Internet, are considered in the manner prescribed by the Code of Administrative Responsibility;

persons who have submitted photographs and video recordings of the facts of offenses are rewarded with a monetary bonus in the amount of 15 percent of the amount of the fine collected from the offender.
