Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Three persons in Khojaabad district stole US$50,000 and mobile phone Huawei worth 600,000 soums from the bag of citizen, who lives in Kyrgyz Republic, in the cafe on 28 December 2022.

They divided the stolen money among themselves on the territory of Andijan and Ferghana regions. This was reported by the press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate of Andijan region.

On this fact, the Investigation Group at the Department of Internal Affairs of Khojaabad district initiated a criminal case under paragraph "a" of part 4 of Article 169 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a preliminary investigation was carried out.

On 5 January three people were charged under paragraph "a" of part 4 of article 169 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a measure of restraint in the form of detention was applied against them. Investigations are currently underway.
