Imports of dates increased by 478 tons

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the State Statistics Committee, in the first two months of 2022, 1.3 thousand tons of dates were imported to Uzbekistan in the amount of US$807,600.

The volume of imports of dates increased by 478 tons compared to the corresponding period of last year.

Countries from which Uzbekistan imported the largest number of dates in January-February 2022:

Iran - 1.2 thousand tons

Turkey - 40 tons

Palestine - 35 tons

Israel - 23 tons

UAE - 22 tons

Saudi Arabia - 20.5 tons
