Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev has met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait Ali Sulaiman Al-Sayyid.
The parties discussed issues of further developing Uzbekistan – Kuwait relations.
The Kuwaiti side highly appreciated the International Conference “Central and South Asia: Regional Connectivity. Challenges and Opportunities”. The readiness of the leadership of Kuwait to support Uzbekistan in the implementation of the agreements reached within the framework of the international forum was expressed.
Ali Sulaiman Al-Sayyid welcomed the adoption by the Uzbek side of the roadmap for the timely implementation of the agreements reached at the meeting in Tashkent. It was noted that the Kuwaiti side has also begun to prepare a roadmap to further enhance cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kuwait in the political, trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to develop a plan, which includes specific activities, including negotiations and inter-MFA political consultations, the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
