Hududgaztaʼminot and E&CO Launch Joint Grant Project to Develop Gas Infrastructure

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Hududgaztaʼminot JSC and the South Korean company E&CO have begun cooperation on modernizing gas infrastructure in Uzbekistan.

Negotiations focused on implementing advanced gas supply systems. E&CO brings extensive experience in gas infrastructure and cryogenic technologies, having completed major projects in Indonesia, Vietnam, and Egypt.

During the meeting, E&CO proposed a pilot grant-funded project in Uzbekistan under a program financed by the South Korean government.

The initiative includes the construction of small-scale facilities for liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage and regasification, enabling a stable supply of natural gas to households and industrial enterprises.

Both parties agreed to proceed with the collaboration to implement this project.
