As of 1 January 2022, the median age was 28.4 for men and 29.8 for women. The average age of residents in urban areas was 30.5 years, and in rural areas - 29.6 years.

As of 1 January 2022, the average life expectancy of the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan was 73.8 years, which was 73.4 years at the beginning of 2021.

This figure as of 1 January 2022 is 71.7 years for men and 75.8 years for women. Life expectancy for urban and rural areas is the same, ie 73.8 years.
