Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - According to the Ministry of Health, on the first day of vaccination in the republic, 5,018 people from Tashkent, Nukus and regional centers were voluntarily vaccinated.

At the first stage of vaccination, citizens aged 65 and over, as well as medical personnel will be vaccinated.

As of 1 April 2021, 1,871 citizens over 65 and 3147 medical workers were vaccinated.

1,651 people from Tashkent, which is the highest figure in the regions.

The next places in vaccination were occupied by Fergana region (467 people), Kashkadarya region (389 people), Tashkent region (317 people).
