Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 14 February 2022, in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry A. Ikramov and the Director of the Office of the Korean Agency for International Cooperation in Uzbekistan, Ms. Park Sunjin.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of the joint project of the CCI and KOICA "Creating an ecosystem of start-ups and stimulating the growth of entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan" (2020-2023).

The purpose of this project is to create an exemplary business incubator in Tashkent, as well as to implement measures to stimulate the development of an innovative ecosystem to support start-up projects in Uzbekistan.

Also, the meeting was attended by the project manager, Professor of Korea Socheonyang University, Mr. Suh Changsu, who informed the participants of the meeting about the future activities of the business incubator, ongoing construction work, as well as the online platform for startups being developed, seminars and trainings held jointly with the Ministry of Innovative Development.
