Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov, who is on a visit to Rome, held a meeting with Advisor to the Chairman of the Italian Senate on international affairs Valentino Valentini.

During the negotiations, issues of the development of inter-parliamentary dialogue between Uzbekistan and Italy, the prospects for mutual study of the experience of parliamentarism in public administration and law-making were discussed.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of signing a Memorandum of Cooperation between friendship groups in the parliaments of the two countries in order to intensify mutual contacts, participate in international conferences and forums on the territory of both countries.

Mutual interest was expressed in providing parliamentary support for cooperation at the bilateral level in the field of culture, expanding cooperation between scientific institutions and educational institutions.
