Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the early hours of 26 February, a cargo truck crashed into a high-pressure gas pipeline in the Yashnabad district of Tashkent, causing a gas leak.

As a result, gas supply was temporarily cut off to 300 households in the Bogbon neighborhood, 400 households in the Argin neighborhood, and 15 major consumers.

Specialists from the district gas supply service are currently on-site, conducting repair operations.

Gas supply will be restored once emergency repair work is completed.
