Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 7 September 2021, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Furqat Sidiqov held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt Amira Fahmi.

During the conversation, topical issues of multifaceted Uzbek-Egyptian cooperation, as well as interaction within the framework of international and regional structures, were discussed.

The parties spoke in favor of the implementation of joint projects in trade and economic, investment, tourism, educational, cultural, humanitarian and other areas.

In particular, the current state and prospects of cooperation between higher educational institutions of the two countries were discussed.
